Haiga Gallery
Welcome to the Reeds Haiga Gallery featuring fine art haiga
in the Japanese tradition as practiced by English language poet-painters and
seen in Reeds: Contemporary Haiga, an annual hard copy publication of
Lone Egret Press and the first full color haiga journal published in the West.
Showcased here are the works of artists whose styles range from traditional haiga painting to contemporary and experimental work in such varied media as sumi-e (ink-brush painting), watercolor, pencil, pen and ink, collage, stamp art, computer rendering, and needlepoint. For more examples of the haiga of these and other poet-painters, you may wish to purchase a copy of Reeds: Contemporary Haiga.
